Saturday Style

Hi all,

Today I have a look book for you! Now that the autumn is on its way and Saturday’s will be used to take advantage of the time off and sunlight, I decided to bring you all something comfortable and casual but stylish! You can wear it around town shopping, with the kids in the park or meeting friends for a coffee (or like me to visit an art gallery!) All the items are available in shops now and I’ll add links throughout the post! They all can be worn separately, and can be mixed and matched with solid block colours which is great – means you’ll get more wear out of them.

We spent the Saturday shooting outfits but also visiting the The Irish Museum of Modern Art also known as IMMA, which has the most amazing gardens, as you can see. The museum is located at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, in Dublin and is well worth a visit on a day trip to Dublin. Even if you have no interest in art, their gardens and court yard are a beautiful place to stop and enjoy a coffee away from the hustle of Dublin city.

The outfit as you can see is simple, girly and comfortable. The t-shirt (I bought it in a size 16 so it would be over sized) is a blush pink with rose gold foil detailing and from New Look. It only cost about €6.99! A bargain. I will be stopping by again to pick up their other styles! (They don’t have the exact version on their website but It is still in shops I checked! This is the same style and line just different graphic on the shirt) It would also look great with some jeans and the shoes!

The bottoms, are a stretch burgundy jean from ASOS and is the colour for autumn. The shops are full of burgundy, so you’ll be right on trend! There are lots of options available at the moment. From Pennys to Oasis, they are all stocking them!

The shoes are my favorite piece, and are full on glitter. Now I love glitter, I love sparkle (perhaps as much as I love tan!) and I’ve worn these shoes so many times since I got them. They have a small block heel which gives a little bit of height, which given it your only 5’2″ like me is always a plus. They are from River Island and are limited edition so you’ll need to move fast if you want them. They are €37 and go with so so many things. I’ve even worn them to work with a pink coloured trouser! They also go great with jeans.

As you’ll see from the wallet, my Kate Spade New York baby, I do love sparkle, and this wristlet was on of my purchases from my trip to NYC this past summer. It’s the perfect size as it fits my phone inside, along with my cards and money. Speaking of phones, this fab phone case was a steal! Penny’s/Primark’s finest at €1.50!!! I bought it along with two others! The Rose Gold/Pink against the black is a stunning look, and fitted right in with this outfit.

My lovely Galway nail lady is on holidays (Hi Silvia!) so in her absence I used the Pennys/Primark stick on nails. Now I was a bit cautious about them considering they were so cheap, but they did the job! Looks great and stayed on well!  That photo is so cringe! It looks like I’m showing off a non existent engagement ring! But you can see the rose gold foil detail better.

Totally click onto my instagram here and you’ll get a laugh about the last two photos! Story of my life!

So that’s all, I hope your Saturday is going well, and that it isn’t raining where you are. It always seems to be raining in Galway lately! Let me know if you pick up any of the pieces mentioned or if you like the outfit.

Much Love,

Aisling x
